1. About these terms

These Terms of Business govern the recruitment and placement services Perth Project People provides to any business that engages us to identify, introduce, or place candidates for permanent, contract, or temporary positions. By submitting a vacancy or accepting an introduced candidate, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

Permanent Recruitment (direct, permanent placement), Contract & Temporary Personnel, and Project Teams. Unless a separate written agreement states Perth Project People is the legal employer of a placed worker, you are the direct employer of any candidate placed under these terms — responsible for wages, superannuation, PAYG, workers’ compensation and all other employer obligations.

3. Fees

Permanent placements: a percentage of the candidate’s first-year gross remuneration, quoted before the search begins. Contract and temporary placements: an hourly, daily, or margin-based fee agreed before commencement. All fees are exclusive of GST. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

4. Replacement guarantee

If a placement ends within the first two weeks due to performance, conduct, or the candidate’s own resignation, we’ll replace them within 48 hours at no additional fee. This doesn’t apply to redundancy, a changed role scope, your breach of these terms, or matters outside our reasonable control.

5. Candidate introduction

If you engage an introduced candidate — directly or indirectly, including via another agency — within 12 months of introduction, the applicable placement fee remains payable in full.

6. Your obligations

Provide accurate role and site information, meet your WHS obligations for any candidate on your site, comply with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and relevant awards, and treat introduced candidates fairly and without unlawful discrimination.

7. Confidentiality, liability & law

Both parties keep non-public information confidential and handle personal information per our Privacy Policy. Our liability is limited, to the extent the law allows, to re-supply of the service or its cost. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
