"Project Engineer" isn't a single-discipline role on a construction, civil or mining package — the technical delivery link between design and site is just as often structural, mechanical, piping (SMP) or electrical as it is civil. We place Project Engineers across all four, matched to what the specific package actually needs rather than defaulting to civil by habit.

What this role covers

• Design interface and constructability review across civil, structural/mechanical/piping (SMP) or electrical scopes
• Technical quality control and compliance with specifications for the relevant discipline
• RFI management and design query resolution
• Materials testing and conformance coordination (civil) or equipment/cabling conformance (SMP & electrical)
• As-built documentation and close-out support
• Support to the Project Manager on technical risk, whichever discipline the package needs
